Tabilane is operated by Wolf Capital Japan LLC (doing business as Tabilane). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit tabilane.com, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've kept it plain and short on purpose.
1. Information We Collect
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4)to understand how people use the site. GA4 collects anonymized IP addresses and behavioral data — things like which pages you visit, how long you stay, and what device you're on. We do not collect your name, email address, or any information that identifies you personally unless you contact us directly.
When you click affiliate links, our partners (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Klook, Viator, etc.) may place their own tracking cookies on your browser. Those cookies are governed by each partner's own privacy policy, not ours.
2. Cookies
We use two types of cookies:
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and usage patterns.
- Affiliate tracking cookies — set by our booking partners when you click a link to their sites.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. How We Use This Information
We use analytics data to understand which content is helpful and to improve the site over time. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to send you marketing emails.
4. Third-Party Services
Tabilane relies on the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 — Google Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare (hosting & CDN) — Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Klook, Viator(affiliate partners) — each partner's privacy policy applies when you visit their sites.
5. Data Retention
Google Analytics 4 retains user-level data for 26 months by default. We do not store any personal data on our own servers.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data associated with you (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws). Because we collect analytics data through Google rather than directly, most requests should be directed to Google.
7. Updates to This Policy
If we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't notify you by email for minor wording tweaks, but any meaningful change will be reflected here.
